QC means quality control. First check whether you are looking at seller photos, QC photos from a previous order or photos of your own order. Seller photos show how the product is presented; QC photos show an item that was received and photographed. Check the style, size and photo date, if available, before looking at the details.

Check the style and size first

Write down the colour, size, model and quantity you ordered. Compare them with the product page and the labels in the photos. A clear photo can still show the wrong option. Check shoe-size labels, model names on packaging and the number of accessories before looking at smaller details.

The main image on a product card is a listing photo. The QC number shows how many quality control photos you can view here; The buying page may have more. It is a photo count, not a quality score or approval. Photos from earlier orders cannot guarantee the condition of your own item.

Look at the whole item, then zoom in on details

Find complete front, back and side views. Compare both shoes together, or the full body and sleeves of a garment, before concentrating on a logo. If one angle suggests a problem, look for the same location in another image. A repeated visible difference gives you a more precise question than an isolated shadow.

Lighting can change apparent colour and texture. Warm indoor lighting may make a white surface look yellow, while reflective materials change with the angle. Ask for a consistent arrangement and comparable light when colour or symmetry is the concern. Avoid treating a digital image as an exact colour reference.

What to check for each product type

Shoes
Compare the two size labels, overall shape, heel alignment and visible sole-to-upper joins. For a suspected uneven heel, request both shoes on the same flat surface, photographed straight from behind.
Hoodies, T-shirts and jackets
Review the body and sleeve proportions, decoration placement, seams, cuffs and closures. A photograph of a closed zip does not demonstrate smooth operation; ask whether a functional check is available.
Pants and padded outerwear
Check the waistband, crotch seams, both legs and hems. For padded pieces, look for visible openings or uneven areas. Photos cannot tell you how warm an item is, measure its fill power or show how well it will last.
Perfume and electronics
Use photographs to compare model, visible condition, packaging and accessories. Scent, battery endurance, sound quality and authenticity require evidence beyond an appearance check.

For padded outerwear, the fill power and fill weight explanation identifies the specifications that photographs cannot supply. Use it to frame a material question rather than to assign warmth from appearance.

For headphones, ANC, isolation and transparency require functional information beyond the housing and accessories shown in an image.

Check how the measurement was taken

Chest width measured across a flat garment is different from the measurement around your body or around the garment. Check where the tape starts and ends, whether the fabric is stretched and how the item is laid out. Measure clothing that fits you in the same way before comparing the numbers.

Keep shoe insole length, internal length and external sole length separate too. A large visible number is not helpful if it describes a different part of the shoe from the measurement you need.

Ask for a photograph that answers a specific question

A useful photo request says which item you mean, what looks wrong and which angle would help you check it. For length, specify the measuring points. For symmetry, request both sides at the same angle. Confirm whether additional photographs or measurements are available and whether there is a fee.

The left heel looks lower in the current image. Please place both shoes side by side on the same flat surface and take one complete photograph directly from behind, so I can compare the heel height and stitching.

Example request for an additional shoe photo

When the new image arrives, compare it with the selected variant and the original concern. If an important question is still unanswered, ask what can be checked or corrected before arranging international shipping. Keep the photographs and the response with the order record.
